Treating Acne is in your own hands!  Let's start off by learning about it. What is Acne? Acne arises when there is excess sebum production in your skin. Sebum is the oil produced by the sebaceous glands that lubricate the hair & skin. In layman's terms, when the oil glands of the skin become clogged or the hair follicles become plugged with oil, dead skin cells or bacteria, it leads to breakouts. It can appear as pimples, whiteheads or blackheads Why do we get Acne? There are tons of reasons why you can. The most common is getting it during your teens which is a normal part of puberty.
